Examples of Our Work: Sample 01
This is a channel back chair from the 1930’s. It was a challenging project, requiring reconstruction of some structural elements, additional padding and a new cushion
Our customer choose the fabric, and we think she made an amazing choice.
This project was completed in about 10 days.
Examples of Our Work: Sample 02
This is a very special vintage chair. It was a Facebook Marketplace find, and is a Sears “Honor Bilt” chair, a line of high quality furniture offered by Sears at the time when they sold house kits.
It was in terrible shape — in fact it had never been recovered — and we had to make some modifications to the undercarriage. But we were excited by the results.
This project was undertaken as a “spec” project, meaning now for a specific customer, and it is available for sale
Examples of Our Work: Sample 03
This is a super high quality couch — the brand is Vanguard — that we reupholstered. It was a delight to work with such a beautiful and well-built piece. The cushions are down, and they needed no structural recovery at all. Other parts of the project were more challenging (don’t ask us about the nail head trim) but we are delighted with the result. This couch is still sold by Vanguard for several thousand dollars; This one is for sale by us for $1,150.
